Bronx Calling: The Sixth AIM Biennial at The Bronx Museum of The Arts

  • Bronx Museum of The Arts 1040 Grand Concourse The Bronx, NY, 10456 United States (map)

All are invited to join us in celebrating the opening of Bronx Calling: The Sixth AIM Biennial (Part Two) at The Bronx Museum on Friday, April 12 from 7 to 9 PM! The party is free to attend, but please let us know if you plan on coming with an RSVP.

Presented in two compelling parts, Bronx Calling: The Sixth AIM Biennial showcases the work of 53 emerging artists who completed The Bronx Museum’s annual Artist in the Marketplace (AIM) Fellowship program in 2020, 2021, 2022, or 2023.

The work on view in Part Two of Bronx Calling powerfully engages with the complexities of the human condition: from our inseparability from nature to the dictates of our cultural identities and norms.

Bronx Calling: The Sixth AIM Biennial is curated by Eileen Jeng Lynch, Director of Curatorial Programs.

Our friends at Uptown Vinyl Supreme—a Bronx-based DJ collective and community organization paying homage to the analog roots of music, party, and dance culture—will be spinning records all evening! Plus New Belgium Brewing has generously sponsored refreshments for the party.
